Welcome to GI Jews!

Here you can access a full range of resources designed to create an inclusive and informed approach to Judaism. Frequently asked questions about living a Jewish life in the Navy are addressed. There is also a link to the Jewish Welfare Board’s Chaplains Council of JCC Association, where you can share your questions and concerns, and receive support, advice and information from military chaplains and from the JWB Chaplains Council.

Jewish personnel comprise approximately one percent of the U.S. Military and of the National Guard. This site is the outcome of a strong desire to support servicemen and women who are Jews-by-Birth, Jews-by-Choice and seekers in their engagement with a value–based approach to Jewish life which is set in the context of the Jewish calendar.

Navy personnel can share questions and concerns, and receive support, advice and information from military chaplains and from the JWB Chaplains Council. Visit http://www.jcca.org/jwb/
