Wendy has an MS from Spertus College. Her passion for overnight camping goes back to her years as the Assistant Director at JCC Camp Chi Overnight Camp. She brings incredible energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude to camp creating a genuinely caring and cooperative, deeply Judaic environment for your child.

Bracha Polstein

On-Site Director: Chavayah Overnight Camp for Girls
We are pleased to have Mrs. Bracha Polstein returning for her third summer. She has been teaching Judaic and secular studies at day schools for more than 30 years. This dynamic, nurturing and inspirational educator will generate enthusiasm and growth in your daughter.

Lawrence LeVine

Director: JCC Perlstein Resort
Lawrence has worked at JCC Camp Chi Overnight Camp since 1994 and has been the Director of JCC Perlstein Resort since 2007. He provides creative activities, logistics and planning for the camp and oversees the lodging and attentive staff at Perlstein.

Our counselors go through a comprehensive screening and interview process and are selected based on their character, passion for Torah values and ruach. A staff to camper ratio of 1:6 keeps your camper engaged, well-supervised and safe 24/7.
