The following dates are set so you can mark your calendar and be ready for a fun filled summer:

Junior/Junior Explorer Parent Meeting

Tuesday, June 5 | 7:00pm
We'll tell you all about everything from busing to parent communication, programming to what you need for the summer. In addition, we'll let you know some of the ways to prepare your campers for a terrific first summer at Apachi Chicago Day Camp. 

The meeting will take place at the Florence G. Heller JCC, 524 W. Melrose Avenue, and is intended for parents only. Street parking is available. Please RSVP to let us know if you'll be attending!

Meet and Greet Open House

Wednesday, June 13 | 6:00–8:00pm | Explorers and Trailblazers
Thursday, June 14 | 9:00–10:00am | Juniors and Junior Explorers
Meet your child’s counselors and see the camp site. You will receive a JCC zip pak complete with calendars, group schedules, and group lists. We will be available to address your questions, and our camp nurses will be on site to collect medication. We recommend campers attend to make their first day of camp a great one!

Bus Route Letter

Mailed to your home by the first week of June
Families will receive a letter indicating your child’s bus route number, and pick up and drop off times. Please review the letter and make sure the information is accurate.

Swim Observation

Thursday, June 28 | Friday, August 3
Swim observation dates are scheduled so that parents can observe their child during a swim lesson.

Family Fun Night

Wednesday, July 11 | 6:00–8:00pm
Pack a picnic dinner and a blanket, and bring the entire family to enjoy an evening at camp. Spend time with your child’s counselors and camp friends. More details, regarding this year’s entertainment, to follow.
