In local news, Team Chicago dominated the bowling competition at the JCC Maccabi Games, the sports festival for Jewish teens held in Houston last week. In the 15-16 division, Max Potash of Arlington Heights parlayed games of 222 and 225 to win gold medals in singles and team competition and a silver in doubles. Daniel Dubin of Buffalo Grove won a silver and two bronzes. In the 13-14 division, Blake Potash of Arlington Heights won silver medals in the singles, doubles and team compeitition and Cody Lefkowitz of Lincolnwood won a bronze in singles.
