Programs at Hyde Park JCC Day CampTzofim  3–4 yrs • 9am–1pm • 3 or 5 day option (Toilet Training Required) This sensational half-day program sets the stage for your child’s lifelong love of camp. Our nurturing, specially trained staff provides your child with the attention and sense of security they need for a positive first camp experience. Small camp groups encourage participation in sports, games, art, dance and music where the emphasis is on building confidence, making friends and having fun. Tzofim campers head to the pool four times a week for swim instruction and enjoy counselor-guided waterplay at camp. Bonim  Kindergarten The Bonim full-day program encourages participation and fun through the variety, excitement and spirit of camp. With swim instruction/free swim four days a week and specialties including art, sports, drama and music, campers can’t wait to return each morning. Two field trips, beach days, and a special late afternoon undernighter give your little camper a taste of independence and encourage them to feel like a big kid. Sayarim  1st grade Chaverim  2nd grade Non-stop fun-filled days are packed with opportunities to enjoy new and favorite activities while creating lifelong memories. Campers in grade-specific groups improve their skills and build self-esteem through individual and team sports, drama, art and instructional/free swim four times a week. A late day undernighter and four exciting field trips to popular destinations, round–out this non–stop camp program, and build your camper’s independence and self-confidence.
Programs at Anita M. Stone JCC Day Camp
Pioneers 2nd–3rd grade The Pioneer program helps campers gain self-confidence and take on new challenges. Twice a week campers choose among a variety of specialties giving them the chance to explore new and favorite activities. Campers swim daily with one period devoted to instruction. Weekly field trips and a late night undernighter foster camaraderie, build independence and strengthen friendships. Voyagers  4th–6th grade There are no two summers exactly alike in this self-guided program that includes specialties four days a week, twice a day. Create a customized summer by choosing from league sports, competitive athletics, hobbies, arts & crafts, Mad Science, dance and cooking. Plus, participate in favorite camp activities, swim twice daily with one period for instruction, take weekly field trips with friends at camp. The Voyager program strengthens your child’s independence, makes them more self-reliant and prepares them for overnight camp. Voyager Sports Camp  4th–6th grade Enthusiastic athletes find more choice, variety, and league play in this competitive sports program focusing on personal growth and sportsmanship. Sports campers kick off their day, four days a week with a combination of soccer, basketball, flag football and/or baseball drills and game play. Afternoons are spent in Chugim (speacialties) that may include league sports, competitive athletics, hobbies, arts & crafts, Mad Science, dance and cooking. Twice daily swim with one period devoted to instruction and weekly field trips to exciting attractions add to the fun. Tweens  7th–9th grade This on-the-go program of outdoor adventure and urban discovery keeps the experienced camper asking for more. Venture out three times a week for bowling, golfing, arts & crafts, and social action projects then spend the remainder of the day participating in favorite camp activities. Twice a week enjoy full-day outings to museums, sporting events, water parks and more.
Round trip bus service from Hyde Park is included for Stone day campers. Campers are picked up at Hyde Park JCC at 8am and return at 4:30pm. |
