Try Chi

August 10-13, 2008

Try Chi is a program designed to give JCC Day Campers, 3rd-6th grade, a taste of quality Jewish overnight camping with four action-packed, adventure-filled days at JCC’s Camp Chi.
 
JCC Day Camp staff travel with the campers and bunk with them in Camp Chi cabins. While at Chi, kids get to try out the best of the summer’s activities, including sailing, water skiing, canoeing, tubing, arts & crafts, ropes course and more!

They’ll feel the spirit of Camp Chi with cookouts, campfires, sing-along, treats from the canteen and great evening programs.

Try Chi is currently only available for JCC of Chicago Day Camp campers, and registration takes place through the day camp offices. Call your local Day Camp office for more information. 

2+2+4 Day/Overnight Camp Combo 

For Children in 4th–6th grade. Campers spend two great weeks at either JCC “Z” Frank Apachi Day Camp (Northbrook), JCC Elaine Frank Apachi Day Camp (Lake Zurich) or JCC Apachi Chicago Day Camp. Then they travel to Camp Chi, where they experience a summer’s worth of overnight camp fun in two exciting weeks. Campers return to day camp for the final four weeks of the summer. Registration for this program is administered through your child’s day camp.
