This Elderhostel itinerary includes visits to the famed Chicago Art Institute, Chicago History Museum, Field Museum of Natural History, financial district, an architectural boat cruise on the Chicago River, State of Illinois Building, a motor coach tour of Chicago’s neighborhoods and, of course, experience some of the finest dining Chicago offers!

Your hotel is in the heart of the Magnificent Mile and most meals are provided.  Hotel accommodations include double occupancy with private bath. Parking next to the hotel is available at an additional cost.

Participation in this program necessitates walking and the ability to navigate stairs.

Come explore its architecture, culture, lifestyle and history with private, docent-led programs and tours. Your hotel is just footsteps away from Michigan Avenue, River North and famed State Street.

This program requires  a considerable amount of walking.

The Ravina Festival Experience,
featuring the Chicago Symphony Orchestra

The Windy City’s high culture surrounds your entire experience, from world-class lodgings to three performances by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and/or musical ensembles in the Pavilion and the historic Martin Theatre. Experts detail the lives of composers and the social context of each selection while lectures and performances by the Steans Institute for Young Artists heighten your musical knowledge. Gain firsthand insight into Chicago’s highly regarded art scene with a local collector.
