Front Desk Administrative Support/Receptionist (PT)    
 
LOCATION:  
Mayer Kaplan JCC, Skokie

DUTIES:   
As a key customer service representative, the Front Desk Administrative Support/Receptionist duties include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Provide administrative support to various departments within the building;
• Provide outstanding customer service and secure the information necessary to direct members to the appropriate person/department
• Manage building access control and security, ensuring all members, staff and visitors show proper identification and have purpose for being in the building;
• Enter program registrations into the registration system;
• Handle incoming, outgoing and inter office telephone calls, record messages accurately and direct callers to the proper person;
• Update member addresses, emails and phone numbers in the e-Finesstri database; Update and maintain the site’s Photo ID system;
• Provide support to the Children’s Theater department including process ticket orders, provide forms for cast and crew members, respond to questions from cast & parents, distribute show materials to cast and customers;
• Provide coverage of the front desk during play rehearsals and evening building meetings.

SALARY RANGE:  
Hourly

HOURS:    
Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm with some additional hours as needed.
 
REQUIREMENTS:  
High school diploma or equivalent; excellent communication and customer service skills; outgoing personality; demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative but also able to seek help when needed and work as part of a team; demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Word, email, and other basic computer skills with the aptitude to become skilled at advanced computer technology; typing speed of 35 wpm; must have flexibility to be able to work additional hours as needed.
