DUTIES:   
The Manager of Regional Business Administration is responsible for developing, implementing and assessing business operation “best practices” for the City Central Region. The Manager of Regional Business Administration serves as the site director at the Hyde Park JCC and is a vital member of the regional management team. As a key liaison with the agency staff, members and lay leaders, the Manager of Regional Business Administration provides the framework by which their staff provides the very highest level of customer service.
  
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Develop, implement, communicate and assess best practices in member services, purchasing, collections, and other front and back office functions.
• Supervise both formally and informally business managers at the Hyde Park and Florence G. Heller JCCs.
• Provide leadership as the site director overseeing the Hyde Park JCC; work with JCC Property Management, Rodfei Zedek staff and site administrative staff regarding day to day needs of the facility. 
• Work collaboratively with staff to develop and maintain compliance with annual operations and Hyde Park JCC occupancy budgets; assist Regional Director in overall regional budget management.
• Support Regional Director in regional fundraising efforts by communicating progress with Board members, sending follow-up letters and assisting in selling ads.  Work with JCC’s Financial Resource Development department to identify and plan additional events to increase fundraising outcomes as needed.
• Serve as operations liaison for all central service departments including but not limited to Accounting, Purchasing, Information Services, Membership Services, HR and Marketing and Creative Services.
• Work with Regional Product staff to ensure they understand and adhere to policies and procedures which allow for seamless business operations.
• Become knowledgeable on all JCC programs in order to develop a membership retention plan that will address the education of members regarding opportunities and programs across the agency.
• Manage preparations for City Central Board meetings including the development and collation of materials, ordering food and supplies and sending out reminders.
• Provide rental agreements to interested parties in accordance with regional and agency policies.  Be proactive in securing rentals and in generating rental income.
• Work with Product, Regional and Marketing & Creative Services staff to coordinate effective sales & marketing pieces such as annual program guides, local advertising and press releases, JUF News, B-mails and newsletters to support JCC programming in the Region.
• Serve as senior staff when Regional Director is unavailable and as a backup in all duties including Crisis Management.
• Actively participate in regional and agency-wide events.
• Staff ad hoc Board committees as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:  
Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred; 7+ years experience in all aspects of business operations including bookkeeping, budgets, process & procedure development and implementation; demonstrated supervisory experience and expertise with the ability to show leadership and be a change agent. As a manager, must have the ability to engage others and to work collaboratively with all levels of staff; ability to manage stress and multiple priorities effectively with a strong commitment to achieving the goals of the department and agency.

The right candidate will have a strong vision with the ability to think  conceptually and strategically; exceptional written and oral communication  skills; excellent problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word and databases with the ability to learn other programs as needed.
