Toddler Time Summertime is fun time as children, with a parent/ caregiver, explore the world around them in this program. Each week a new theme will be introduced through imaginative in-room and outdoor experiences, songs, finger plays, art, and stories.
Toddler Time Shabbat Children, with a parent/caregiver, enjoy the summer and explore the world through the seven days of creation. Each class a new day of the creation will be introduced through imaginative in-room and out-door experiences, songs, finger plays, art, and stories. Shabbat candles will be lit and challah and juice will be served at each class.
Little TravelersChildren, with a parent or caregiver, enjoy a different themed field trip each week of this 2 day/week program. Class meets 1 day in the classroom and is introduced to the week’s theme through art, songs, stories and more. The second class day meets at the field trip location where the fun continues. Great Beginnings™Great Beginnings™ classes have been encouraging children's development though hands-on interactive learning for over 25 years. The North Shore's best music and movement program is expanding and is now being offered in Chicago for the first time. Parents and children share, explore and socialize in a safe, developmentally appropriate classroom under the guidance of caring, involved instructors. LCJCC (offered through our Parenting Center Infant's HourInfant’s Hour is a special time for parents or caregivers to interact with their children through music and movement. Infants will have an important opportunity to gain awareness of other children while adults make new friends! Jewish learning is also introduced through song. Music with AimeeMusic w/ Aimee is the 'next step' for infants who are beginning to explore their surroundings by crawling and walking. Together with a parent or caregiver, children enjoy the music and movement activities of Infant's Hour with some added fun! Jewish learning is expanded upon throughstories and picture books. Shabbat comes alive for you and your toddler through songs and stories! This is our popular Great Beginnings program with a Jewish twist. Interactive curriculum will increase your child’s exposure to Shabbat and other Jewish holidays. Challah and juice will be served. Tot Shabbat
