Early Childhood Directors

Every JCC Early Childhood location has onsite directors overseeing the day-to-day activities at the site. Directors are degreed, educational professionals who work closely with the teaching staff to assure that their sites meet the standards set for all Jewish Community Center of Chicago Early Childhood locations.

Teachers

JCC teachers have academic degrees in Early Childhood or a related discipline and receive continuous preparation, support and training in and out of the classroom. The staff is updated with strategies and tools to implement the JCC curriculum and understand the latest trends in early childhood education and child development.

Social Service Staff

Our team of full-time professional social-workers and psychologists create educational and informative workshops and programs to address the common challenges that families with young children encounter. The Social Service Team is an invaluable resource to teachers, directors and parents in assessing and verifying that each child is achieving his or her full potential.

Agency Management Team

To assure that we offer the best possible educational experience consistently across the JCC system, there is an Agency Management Team of senior early childhood education administrators and educators as well as individuals with expertise in social services, child development and Jewish education. This team researches and explores new and innovative curriculum and teaching methods to assess their potential value to the JCC. This team also works closely with the JCC Early Childhood Lay Committee and accreditation institutions.
