DCFS Licensing All JCC facilities are DCFS licensed prior to opening. The Department of Children and Family Services of the State of Illinois sets forth the standards for licensed centers in order to operate. It makes sure that the facility complies with the rules set down by the State regarding administration, staffing, program requirements, structure and safety, health and hygiene, and facility and equipment. JCC Early Childhood provides a healthy environment for children. The JCC has strict policies on cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms and toys, follows DCFS sick child policies and follows the Illinois Department of public health communicable disease policy The JCC maintains further policies with regard to the administration of medication, managing of food allergies and accidents and emergencies.
