As one of the largest camping programs in the country, JCC has the privilege each summer of watching almost 5,000 kids as young as three years old through high school experience the magic of JCC Camping.

Since 1921 when Camp Chi first opened, JCC has been operating camps as “kid communities” where children can laugh, learn and grow among friends. Today, JCC runs eight Chicagoland day camps and Camp Chi, the Midwest’s premier overnight camp.

Our success comes from putting kids first, doing all that we can to make each child feel comfortable, welcome and happy. We bring together talented, professional staff who know how to turn a group into a family. We maintain the highest standards of safety and service, and infuse our programs with a warm and unique Jewish spirit.
