All registrations will be processed immediately upon receipt. Payment in full is required at the time of registration. Registrations may be completed by phone, fax, in person or by mail to your local Center. A members-only lottery will be conducted in cases where enrollment exceeds the participant maximum. These registration procedures do not apply to the following programs: Full-Day Childcare, Preschool, Kindergarten Club and After School Recreation. Please consult a registrar for registration procedures for these programs. In observance of Shabbat, registrations are not accepted or processed on Saturday. Payment PolicyClass fees are payable in full at the time of registration by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard or Discover unless otherwise stated in program materials. Prior to processing, accounts are reviewed for outstanding balances. Registrations cannot be processed until such balances are reconciled. In order to register during member registration and receive member rates, membership must be in effect for the duration of the program. If membership expires during the program, it must be renewed at the time of registration in order to receive member benefits. A written commitment to renewal, along with a credit card number at time of registration is required. Payments received after the 15th of each month will incur a $10 late fee. Direct payments and tipping to program staff are not permitted. Checks returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF) incur a $25 service charge. Replacement funds must be submitted by money order, cashiers check, credit card or cash. Payment OptionsMembership dues are annual and are payable in full at the time of purchase or renewal, unless otherwise specified, with cash, check or credit card. Full Facility and Access members may choose monthly automatic debits to VISA, MasterCard, or Discover (including debit cards) with a written commitment to 12 full months. RefundsJCC membership fees are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be prorated. Withdrawal from a class or program after the session or program has begun will result in full forfeiture of fees. Prior to the start of class, refunds are available less a $25 administration fee. Refunds or credits are not given for illness, vacation or temporary childcare arrangements. JCC reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment. If an alternative cannot be found for the participant, a full refund will be issued. If a program or class is cancelled, JCC will attempt to either institute a make-up session or issue a credit. All credits must be used within the same JCC fiscal year (July 1–June 30). We reserve the right to substitute qualified staff, whenever necessary, to ensure the class or program’s success. Refunds are not granted for staff changes. ProrationFees cannot be prorated for participant absence from scheduled class sessions unless such a policy is noted in the class listing. Fee AssistanceFee assistance is available to encourage participation by those who cannot afford full program prices. All requests for fee assistance are handled with complete confidentiality. Fee assistance funds are available for Full-Day Child Care, All-Day and Half-Day Preschool and Camp. Discontinuation of Services In the event the JCC determines that continued participation in JCC programs or services is not appropriate, JCC reserves the right to discontinue service. In such a circumstance, any unused portion of service fees paid to date will be refunded. JCC reserves the right to cancel the enrollment of an individual for reasons not limited to the following: not observing the rules of the JCC as outlined in the Annual Program Guide or Parent Handbook; a child’s special needs that cannot adequately be met with current staffing; physical or verbal abuse of staff or children by adult or child; non-payment of fees. Photo PolicyJCC may videotape or photograph participants enrolled in programs, classes, and events or while enjoying JCC facilities. These photographs are for JCC publications, flyers, publicity efforts, brochures, and website or cable programs. All photos and videos are for JCC use and become the sole property of JCC. Insurance & Medical InformationJCC does not provide medical insurance coverage for accidents or injuries that occur while attending or participating in any activity at or sponsored by JCC. Personal medical insurance that covers participation in JCC programs is available through the JCC Association of North America Medical Expense Insurance Program.
