Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

POSITION:

Early Childhood Assistant Teachers

JCC Early Childhood Services' philosophy is based on a developmental approach that focuses on exploration and experimentation within a nurturing and social environment.  Children learn the basic skills necessary to develop academically, creatively, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Creative Curriculum is the framework for the JCC Early Childhood learning experience. In support of meeting the Illinois Early Learning Standards, a variety of respected teaching methods are implemented to transmit the learning experiences and values that set a JCC Early Childhood education apart.  Our aim is to provide a program of Jewish enrichment, teach Jewish values, and to build a strong sense of Jewish identity.  Our staffs help children develop the skills and self-confidence necessary for living in a complex, changing world.  A vital part of our teachers’ role is to communicate and work with families to develop mutual, realistic expectations for learning and behavior. All JCC schools are NAEYC accredited and licensed by DCFS.
