In response to requests from preschool families, JCC has expanded our Early Childhood Learning program to include full-day Kindergarten and half-day Kindergarten at two sites. For some families, this fulfills their desire to continue the integrated secular and Jewish studies program. For other families, the combination of full-day childcare combined with the kindergarten program is needed for the family's schedule.

The JCC Kindergarten program allows children to maintain friendships established in preschool while continuing a curriculum of learning infused with Jewish content and experiences. JCC kindergarten programs are licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services and follow State of Illinois curriculum guidelines.

Kindergarten is offered at the following sites:

Buffalo Grove: JCC at Woodland Commons
Flossmoor: Anita M. Stone JCC
Northbrook: Bernard Weinger JCC
Skokie: Mayer Kaplan JCC Children's Center
