Sources of Funding

As a non-profit organization serving the greater Chicago-area Jewish community, JCC derives its funding from a variety of sources. In addition to budgetary support from the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, JCC relies heavily upon the increased generosity of community members, corporations, foundations and special friends. They all provide much-needed support through participation in JCC’s Annual Benefit endeavors, the Hall of Fame Heritage Society, special grants, endowment funding through the JCC Endowment Foundation, the JCC Women’s Auxiliary, the JCC Senior Service League and through special events hosted in local communities. Program and membership fees comprise the remaining portion of JCC’s annual income.

Support Your ‘J’ and Help Your Community!

Someone you know may need our help. Maybe a member of your family, or a neighbor, or a friend. Each year, JCC receives hundreds of requests for assistance --- for program and membership fee scholarships, or for support in working through a crisis. And each year, we work with our community to find ways to help!

JCC's program and membership fees cover only part of this, about 65%, of our JCC operating costs. You can help!

  • Purchase and maintain your annual JCC membership.
  • Contribute to JCC's annual campaign.
  • Support the annual Jewish United Fund (which supports JCC).
We need you, and your community needs you!
