| | Women’s Auxiliary of the JCC Women's Auxiliary of the Jewish Community Centers of Chicago is a dynamic group of volunteers committed to enriching the lives of Jewish children through fundraising efforts and social action programs. The annual "Summer of Smiles" fundraising campaign, Membership Drive, and Tribute Card sale provide scolarship assistance to those who need financial help to attend JCC's Camp Chi, "Z” Frank Apachi Day Camp.
Women's Auxiliary volunteers also provide personal support, resource, and referral services to families and individuals in crisis through Project Chesed -- a program designed to assist individuals and families at risk or in crisis. Women's Auxiliary members volunteer as liaisons connecting those in need with appropriate referrals for social services, community resources, financial managment and counseling for depression, divorce, abuse, and more. The Women's Auxiliary also participates in serving meals to indigent and homeless families and individuals at the Uptown Cafe, located in the Eli and Dina Field Multi-Service Center. The Uptown Café is a Jewish Federation-sponsored kosher meal program, a response to the needs of Chicago's indigent population.

| Ambassador CorpsJCC's Ambassador Corps is a volunteer program designed for adults who have a passion for community service and are dedicated to supporting Jewish communal life through the Jewish Community Centers of Chicago. Committee members acted as liaisons, connecting individuals and families in need with appropriate social services and community resources such as depression counseling, divorce counseling, financial management, sexual abuse and more. at 847.763.3623. | | | EZRA Multi-Service CenterThe EZRA Multi-Service Center (MSC) is a Jewish Federation-funded, JCC-administered emergency service center located in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood. Each year, the Center serves more than 4,000 homeless and disadvantaged individuals and families by providing emergency assistance, food and clothing distribution, eviction prevention and advocacy, job placement and social and spiritual opportunities. The MSC provides services for the working poor who have jobs but do not earn a living wage; people with mental and physical disabilities; ever-increasing numbers of single-parent families; and immigrants from the former Soviet Union.

The Uptown CaféCoordinated by the EZRA Multi-Service Center under the auspices of the JCC of Chicago, the Uptown Cafe is a Jewish Federation-sponsored kosher meal program located on Sheridan Road in Uptown. Designed to respond to the needs of Chicago's indigent population, the program is staffed by volunteers from JCC, JUF, synagogues and youth groups providing hundreds of meals each week. Much more than a just a meal program, the Uptown Café atmosphere offers dignity to the people it serves. The Cafe also links guests with the Jewish community's network of social services, including shelter, counseling, supplementary assistance and advocacy services offered by the EZRA Multi-Service Center.
