NAEYC and Kehillah
Register your child with confidence — JCC is fully accredited
Each JCC Early Childhood location has been accredited by the gold standard in early childhood education – the National Association for the Education of Young Children – NAEYC. We have also been granted accreditation by the Early Childhood Kehillah of Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago for meeting the highest standards of excellence in creating community and embracing love of Judaism.
NAEYC: Excellence in early childhood education
Since 1985, this national organization has worked to give parents like you the help you need when seeking a great program for your little one. Bestowing accreditation using professional standards, they strive to raise the quality of education for all children from birth through age eight. The largest organization dedicated to young children, NAEYC sets the standard high, because kids deserve the very best start in life.
The NAEYC torch signifies that our JCC Early Childhood program has voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process of self analysis and external review to verify compliance with the highest delivery standards of education, health and safety.
Kehillah: A love of Judaism
Meeting Kehillah criteria is a distinction and an honor for JCC Chicago. Accreditation is a rigorous process. Sites must foster a strong love of Judaism, an enriched Jewish identity and a secure sense of community for young children and their families. The only programs considered for Kehillah accreditation are those that have already received accreditation by NAEYC.
