Your gift to the JCC Annual Fund will strengthen our community in the most meaningful of ways. Toddlers who learn Shabbat songs through their first school experience, children who make life-long friends at the camp that feels like home, young adults who connect to traditions through Kehilla, older generations who connect through exercise and travel—these are the faces of JCC Chicago. Your gift helps us be there for each of them.
JCC Chicago is committed to being there regardless of a family’s financial circumstances. It is our goal to ensure that no one is ever turned away from a JCC program because they could not afford to participate. We accomplish this through the JCC Annual Fund, an effort to help ensure that everyone can experience Jewish life among friends.
Last year, JCC Chicago awarded more than $1,200,000 in scholarship assistance to ensure that no one was turned away from participating in our programs. Although the vast majority of our recipients are children who come to us for early childhood education, camps and after-school programs, we also provide assistance to adults and seniors for programs that contribute to their overall health and well-being.
What’s more, JCC Chicago is committed to providing access to Jewish life throughout Chicagoland. The annual fund also supports free and low-cost programming for families seeking a Jewish community, interested in experiencing Shabbat, or wanting to learn more about the Jewish calendar and holidays. JCC Chicago is here—thanks to the JCC Annual Fund and to you.Give Today
